A Literary Epiphany

As I sipped my Earl Grey and contemplated the vast, perplexing universe of literary genres, it occurred to me that the kind of books I relish seem to defy categorisation. I found myself musing on the ineffable nature of 'science fiction,' like some interstellar explorer adrift in the endless cosmos. Suddenly, inspiration struck: I would forge a new genre, one that marries the sumptuous trappings of historical fiction with the tantalising possibilities of technological speculation. Lo and behold, Techtrospective Fiction was born.
